Located in the booming Hochelaga Maisonneuve district of Montreal, Club Hippocrate is a multidisciplinary health center offering a full range of care services, including hot yoga and a restaurant-café space.
Club Hippocrates, founded on the principle of a social club to promote well-being, exchanges and community.
Focused on a fluid experience between the different services, the common areas are arranged at the front along a series of windows starting with the central reception lobby, on one side there is the restaurant-café and on the other the reception of the center followed by the yoga room and ten diverse treatment rooms.
The design of the project, based on a juxtaposition of organic materials and simple volumes thus creating a balance.
The preserved original brick walls add character while the wall plaster smoothes with the reflections of the wraparound lighting.
The palette of built-in furniture in walnut, olive porcelain, marble and terracotta velvet contrasts yet complements the slate floor finishes and understated wall finishes.
The integration of tailor-made lighting devices makes it possible to create ambiances depending on the time of day.
